in rooms or on site, what are the benefits of each?

    • Great question Garry. No doubt others may want to comment on this but there is no right and wrong answer in my book. It depends on a number of things – onsite can be restrictive if you want to get big numbers of auctions done in a day, on site has a lot more atmosphere but is a lot more labour intensive. In rooms creates a better controlled environment especially if there are going to be negotiations. An auction can be held over and the auctioneer moves on in the program and then comes back to it. In rooms really buzz when a sale happens and that seems to lift the room but the opposite can happen as well. It really is up to the agent, the office and especially the auctioneer. Let me know what you think.
